1.Firm Connection: The joint between the measuring tip and handle shall be firmly assembled without loosening under a tensile force of 147 N.

2.Hardness: The periodontal probe is made of stainless steel. The hardness of the tip shall range from 36 HRC to 55 HRC.

3.Surface Roughness: Except for handle knurling and tip corners, the surface roughness Ra of the periodontal probe shall not exceed 0.4 μm.

4.Corrosion Resistance: The periodontal probe shall have excellent corrosion resistance. Minor corrosion traces formed after the corrosion test can be completely removed by wiping.

5.Appearance: The surface shall be free of sharp edges, burrs and cracks.

6.Type, Specification and Basic Dimensions: The type, specification and basic dimensions of the periodontal probe shall comply with specified standards.
