1.Mechanical Strength: The dental amalgam plugger shall have sufficient strength and shall not deform under force.

2.Tip Hardness: The hardness of the plugger tip shall be higher than 40 HRC.

3.Surface Roughness: The external surface roughness Ra of the amalgam plugger shall not exceed 0.8 μm.

4.Corrosion Resistance: The amalgam plugger shall feature excellent corrosion resistance. Slight corrosion traces generated after testing can be wiped off easily.

5.Handle Knurling & Appearance: The knurling on the handle shall be clear and intact, free of sharp edges, burrs and cracks.

6.Tip Dimensions: The dimensions of the working tip shall comply with the specifications listed in Table 1 and Figure 1.
