1. Strength & Operation The dental mouth gag shall possess sufficient structural strength and shall not deform when its jaws are fully opened to the maximum span. All fixing screws shall be secured firmly; opening and closing movements shall be smooth and flexible without jamming. 2. Hardness The dental mouth gag shall undergo heat treatment with a hardness ranging from 40 HRC to 48 HRC. 3. Surface Roughness The surface roughness Ra value of the dental mouth gag shall not exceed 0.8 μm. 4. Corrosion Resistance The dental mouth gag shall deliver good corrosion resistance. Minor corrosion marks may appear after corrosion testing and shall be completely removable by wiping. 5. Appearance The dental mouth gag shall feature a symmetrical and smooth profile, free of sharp edges, burrs and cracks. 6. Dimension Tolerance The width of the jaw tip and handle of the dental mouth gag shall comply with specified dimensional requirements.
