1. Movement & Clamping Performance The nut and all movable joints of the matrix band holder shall rotate smoothly and flexibly, and provide reliable clamping performance after positioning. 2. Hardness The matrix band holder shall be heat-treated with hardness ranging from 40 HRC to 48 HRC. 3. Surface Roughness Excluding the serrated tip section, the surface roughness Ra of the matrix band holder shall not exceed 0.8 μm. 4. Corrosion Resistance The matrix band holder shall feature excellent corrosion resistance. Minor corrosion marks are permitted after testing and can be fully wiped off. 5. Appearance The matrix band holder shall be flat and symmetrical. All surfaces except the tip shall be free of sharp edges, burrs and cracks. The knurling on the nut shall be clear and intact without missing or damaged knurls. 7. Opening Dimension The maximum opening width of the matrix band holder shall comply with specified standards.
