  • The ophthalmic scissors shall have excellent cutting performance, free of chipped edges, uneven bite and jamming. They shall open and close flexibly. The screw shall be firmly fixed on the left blade without rotating along with opening and closing movements.
  • The ophthalmic scissors shall be heat-treated with hardness ranging from 50 HRC to 58 HRC.
  • The surface roughness parameter Ra of the outer surface of the ophthalmic scissors shall not exceed 0.8 μm.
  • The ophthalmic scissors shall have good corrosion resistance. Slight corrosion marks on the surface after testing can be removed by wiping.
  • The outer surface shall be free of sharp edges, burrs, blowholes and cracks.

 

  • The overall length and tip width of the ophthalmic scissors shall comply with specified requirements.
